Brave Trailers

After this year’s disappointing Cars 2 Pixar returns with what looks to be one very entertaining and original work known as Brave. From the footage that I have seen for this movie so far has intrigued me into seeing the final product. The setting reminds me of Braveheart and How to Train Your Dragon and should be yet another entertaining and heartfelt movie from the animation studio Pixar. Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord MacIntosh (Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Wise Woman (Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late. This looks to be the animation film of the year and should return Pixar to the Academy awards front doors, if it doesn’t disappoint like Cars 2 did.

With the setting and surroundings representing another wonderful animated film How to Train Your Dragon it is hard not to make comparisons but I hope the studio is able to pull off such a brilliant looking movie.

For your convince I have posted all three trailers for the film and hope that you enjoy what you see with these trailers. UPDATED I have also added the newest released trailer that came out today
