The Night Lands
What really stuck out to me in this episode is how much of it was focused on sex (not a bad thing just not always necessary for the plot). The majority of this episode focused on the Greyjoys, it is good to see them more and give the audience a little more history about the people. The only weird part was Theon’s interaction with his sister such as groping and other sexual connotations, yes was in the book, made everything more awkward for him when he arrives to his father. The time focused on Dany and what is left of her people was unnecessary just because of how little time was actually focused on her and her stubble, I would have preferred her just staying out of this episode and left it for the next one. Once again the focuses is Tyrion who has taken control of what he can in his sister’s rule. Arya makes her return, other than the brief seconds she is seen in the first episode, and see keeps becoming a better character and the fact that she made a friend out of Gendry, the kings bastard, shows that she will have support from other people in the coming episode. But the highlight of this episode is Jon Snow and the fact that he is still with Craster and that one of his daughter’s wants to leave just in case she has a boy and at the end of the episode you get to see what happens to the boy children, which involves sacrifice to the creatures known as the White Walker which is a good thing to include since they have been absent since the first episode. All in all it is a good episode but it is far from the best.
